Ron is married and has three children: Laura 19, Chloe 10 and Ely 7. He is the owner of two successful businesses - Rohn Industries and Shred Right. Ron has been a part of the Southside Board for five years and serves on the advisory committee for HLIC. He is passionate about serving God and has a heart for ministering to women and children in crisis.

Don has been the Treasurer for Southside for the past four years. He brings a strong business and accounting background to the table as well as his fundraising experience. In addition to his work with Southside, he serves as both a Trustee and on the Pastoral Council of Holy Name Church. He has been active in music ministry for many years as both an instrumentalist and singer. Don works for the State Revenue Department.

Carla lives in Monticello with her husbank Rick of 18 years and their 2 teenage children, Tyler and Jordyn. She is self employed, working from home as a Billing specialist for several psychiatrists and psychologists in the Twin Cities area. Carla holds dear to her heart the mission of Southside, and greatly wants to be involved in carrying out that mission.

Sally Bennett is a devoted student of God’s word, a person of prayer and a gifted intercessor. She serves as a lead intercessor for The Twin Cities Christian Foundation, participates in personal prayer sessions for persons seeking healing and restoration, and has ministered to single mothers for more than twenty years. She has been married to her husband Jay for 39 years and is the mother of three grown sons, with two daughters-in-law and one grandson.

Lori is married and the mother of 5 children . . . three grown and two in college. She owns her own business, Get Lorganized! where she works as a professional organizer helping to create functional spaces for both homeowners and small businesses. Lori recently joined the board and enjoys volunteering weekly at Southside. She is a member of Life Path Christian Community where she heads up an administrative support team that help keeps things on task at the church. She is excited to see how the Lord will use her in this new role.

Jacqui joined the Southside Board (officially) in January of 2008 - though she had been an integral part of our fundraising and vision planning before that. She is the mother of three active children, Laura 19, Chloe 10 and Ely 7. She served as the President of the Parent Board of Minnehaha Academy as well as on the advisory committee for HLIC. Jacqui is a dance instructor at The Stage Door in Coon Rapids and volunteers for various organizations affiliated with the dance community.

Mary Rooney, Board Member

Mary has been part of Southside for 13 years in a variety of roles. She has served as the Administrator, Fundraiser, Board Secretary and Board President. Mary has four children: Charlie 11, Mary Rose 10, Christopher 6 and Elizabeth 2. Mary is a RN who is now staying at home with her children while running a small business, Loon Tune, with her husband Russ. In her ’spare time’ she is a Girl Scout Leader and Girls Basketball Coach at Blessed Trinity Catholic School.
